Bruins Athletics helps fulfill the mission of Bob Jones University by giving student-athletes opportunities to develop Christlike character in a competitive environment and providing them with a platform for sharing Christ through sports. A BJU high-quality Christian education is biblically faithful, demands academic excellence, and is delivered in a context of authentic relationships. Bruins Athletics continues this mission by providing ways for our student-athletes to live out their biblical worldview on the field. Our student-athletes demonstrate dedication, sportsmanship, and discipline while they pursue an excellent BJU education. Our coaching staff invests in the lives of our students by becoming mentors, mission trip leaders, and friends. By supporting Bruins Athletics, you become integral to a transformational journey—where faith, discipleship, and athletics intertwine to create an energetic testimony for Christ among our peer athletes.
Supporting the Bruins Athletic Club provides funding for the greatest needs of BJU's athletics program. Funds raised will provide necessary equipment, transportation, and technology enhancements as we pursue excellence in our 11 varsity programs.
Enable student-athletes to participate in short-term mission trips nationally and internationally where they have the opportunity to share the Gospel.
Supporting Bruins Athletics' special projects enables BJU to accomplish key enhancements like the creation of team rooms for each sport which provide opportunities for peer-to-peer and coach-to-athlete discipleship, the creation of the DFH Championship Hall, or the purchase of a Bruins coach bus.
